Biography
Raymond Choi is a co-founder and general partner of Valley Capital Partners, where he primarily focuses on early stage technology investments in AI, fintech, cybersecurity and health technologies. Raymond first got exposed to Silicon Valley in 2007, where he started as a Stanford-trained physician, then as a Kleiner Perkins-backed entrepreneur, angel investor and finally as a venture capitalist. Raymond enjoys working with impactful entrepreneurs and helping them commercialize their ideas in the real world.
Prior to his career in fund management and investing, Raymond grew up in the midwest, where he had his first taste of business while working at his father’s restaurant. There, Raymond learned some of the most valuable principles in life that still guide his career and decision making today – generosity, hard work, and humility.
